Before receiving the MTV Vanguard award for an illustrious career, Beyoncé hit the stage for a memorable set that featured a medley of all the tracks off her self-titled 2014 album. Shawn Carter’s better half delivered the expected flawless performance (pun intended) that concluded with Jay and Blue presenting Bey with her award. Jay lauded her as the world’s “greatest living entertainer,” and last night you’d be hard-pressed to argue otherwise.
