Tensions between the camps of Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios boiled over this evening with footage documenting a physical confrontation between Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza.
The problems started when Garcia’s camp advised Roach they would have to stay later than advertised to complete their workout. Roach demanded they leave immediately and the confrontation soon degraded into shoving and Roach referring to a member of Rios’s camp as a “Mexican motherfucker. Ariza responded by mocking Roach’s Parkinson syndrome.

Tomorrow’s final press conference, which will be streamed here, now just got very interesting. Is this genuine hatred here, final hype agreed upon by both sides to promote the fight, or just Roach playing mind games?

Hmm, making racially derogatory about Mexicans as a resident of L.A. .., Interesting. I wonder if the Wild Card gym will require more security now?
So far a few people I know from Wildcard are defending Freddie saying he’s not racist (with that said, none of them are Mexican). Whole thing was embarrassing for all involved.

Its sad to see Roach and Ariza beefing like that, and Ariza taking the piss out of a serious condition like Parkinsons… It must be dangerous hitting a person with that disease, no matter what they said…
Also if he team is suppose to train say 9-11 and than the other team 11-1, this close to a fight there should be team where the dont cross paths, so the time should be 9-11 and 12-2…
Nah… Calling out someone’s race/ehtnicity if you are not surrounded by security, is a good recipe to get worldstarred.
