[Photo] Weigh-In & Prediction: Stevenson 173.8, Cloud 174.6

Initially, my gut was going with Cloud, as I felt Stevenson was too enamored with power and would start having issues inside when Cloud stood up to his bombs. Upon further review of their most recent bouts, I feel this fight is Stevenson's to lose.

MONTREAL — There were no problems on the scales as WBC champion Adonis Stevenson and challenger Tavoris Cloud both made the light-heavyweight limit without difficulty.

Stevenson came in at 173.8 pounds. Cloud tipping the scales at 174.6.

Prediction: Initially, my gut was going with Cloud, as I felt Stevenson was too enamored with power and would start having issues inside when Cloud stood up to his bombs. Upon further review of their most recent bouts, I feel this fight is Stevenson’s to lose. He has shown that he can keep his power late and box under control when need be. Cloud struggles with movement, and Stevenson will likely be in boxer-puncher mode — angles to prevent the strong and predictable Cloud from getting set, and occasional big right hands to keep him honest. I see Cloud’s chin holding up, but Stevenson takes a unanimous decision with both guys getting stunned a few times.
