The Black Opera – “Opera Hands” b/w “Teleport”

The Black Opera: a nebulous entity that exists everywhere and nowhere simultaneously, materializing only in vivid demonstrations.

The collective known as The Black Opera has recently signed a new deal with Mello Music Group and debuted these two new tracks on the road to manifesting a national movement. “Opera Hands” has the type of danceable bounce heard on tracks like The Throne’s “Niggas In Paris,” but it’s way more subdued and without sacrificing any lyrical acumen. “Teleport” has a down-tempo vocal sample reminisicent of 9th Wonder’s Little Brother work.

No word yet on a album release date, but this is definitely a group to keep an eye on.
