Floyd Mayweather Calls Out Pacquiao for May 5: “Step up, punk!”

Floyd Mayweather made his preferred May 5 opponent public today with a brazen social media call out of Manny Pacquiao.

Rumored to be close to signing on to face Robert Guerrero or Saul Alvarez, Mayweather voiced his challenge to Pacquiao on Twitter and Facebook.

“Manny Pacquiao I’m calling you out,” said Mayweather. “Let’s fight May 5 and give the world what they want to see.”

“My jail sentence was pushed back because the [May 5] date was locked in. Step up punk!”

Last Sunday, Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum said a Mayweather fight was better suited for November..
