This 24/7 finale focuses on Margarito’s eye issues and the New York State Athletic Commission’s last-minute decision to license him. Trainer Robert Garcia is having Margarito’s sparring partners throw a lot of left hooks to get his fighter ready for Cotto’s plan to target that surgically repaired eye. Cotto is using his belief that Margarito cheated against him as training motivation. The most interesting segment comes from Cotto’s wife, who discusses at length watching her husband brutally beaten by Margarito in the first fight. All the talk ceases next Saturday (December 3).
