The damage split Alvarado’s mouth open, and Prescott looked to be on the verge of a nice knockout through five rounds. Alvarado would surge in the middle rounds by making it an inside battle and rocking Prescott with right hands. Even then, Prescott still made his presence known with neck-snapping uppercuts on the inside. Alvarado would secure the thrilling comeback in the final round by forcing exchanges and hurting Prescott with right hands and scoring a knockdown off two vicious uppercuts. Several more right uppercuts would seal the deal and put Prescott out on his feet. Excellent fight.
