Boxing legend Joe Frazier is reportedly close to death following a terminal prognosis of advanced liver cancer.
According to Frazier’s manager Leslie Wolff, the Hall of Fame heavyweight was diagnosed roughly five weeks ago. He is now under hospice care at an undisclosed Philadelphia facility.
“He’s in serious shape, we’re looking for a miracle,” the source told the NY Post. “They’re only giving him a short time to live. We need to have as many people as possible praying for Joe right now.”
Frazier recently attempted to make media rounds in support of a new documentary highlighting his charity work in Philadelphia and the closing of his famed gym.
