This week’s edition of HBO 24/7 finds Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz taking some final R&R before next Saturday’s (September 17) showdown. Mayweather is still fuming about Ortiz’s veneration of Oscar De La Hoya, and also of the attention being paid to Ortiz’s tough background. For what it’s worth, Ortiz was trying to bully his sparring partners with strength and was also still at times squaring himself up inside. Also, Ortiz’s trainer Danny Garcia focused on watching Floyd’s bout against Ricky Hatton. With Floyd’s previous declaration that he’ll be fighting toe to toe, we should get an exciting inside battle.
