HBO’s latest press for Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz is a 12 minute “Ring Life” segment detailing both fighter’s supporting casts going into September 17. There’s not anything new regarding Mayweather. Ortiz’s segment is the eye-opener, as it goes into how he made it after being abandoned by both parents. We also get some insight into his training regimen. One thing that was pointed out that I overlooked is that Ortiz has scored knockdowns in his last seven bouts dating back to 2009.
