Chris Brown’s has gone all out with this new mixtape Boy In Detention. Although he’s rapped a lot before (most notably on his Tyga collaboration tapes), Brown is showing is trying to pursue the craft seriously with collabs hereĀ from 9th Wonder, Justice League, No ID and David Banner. No one’s ever going to confuse him with Rakim or Jay-Z, but Brown does come off on a few of these tracks.
