With the assistance of director Trevor Cox, English pop singer Neon Hitch took to the streets of NYC to record this cover of Wiz Khalifa’s “On My Level.” The beat knocks more on the original, but Hitch has a strong enough voice to carry the sparse instrumentation of her interpretation. Considering the blurring of dance-pop and mainstream/radio Hip-Hop production in recent years, it wouldn’t be surprising if these two linked up for an original piece.
