This excellent mini-documentary gives an insightful synopsis of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s creative process for Watch the Throne. A good portion of the project was completed in Australia surrounded by family (Beyonce) and supporters like actor Russell Crowe. Kanye has come a long way, as evidenced by the clips that show the size of his studio in 2002 as opposed to the mansion he’s recording in now. We also get Jay working out a verse in his head that is notable for the repetition of the word “it.” And, fans get to hear a snippet of the Watch the Throne track that features Beyonce.
