After his last fight against Daniel Ponce de Leon, Adrien Broner (21-0, 17 KOs) had many fans hoping to never see him fight again. Following tonight’s demolition of Jason Litzau (28-3, 21 KOs), that sentiment may be reversed. Broner took just one round to end Litzau’s night, starting the ending sequence with a whipping right hook. Broner let loose with a barrage of shots punctuated by right uppercut and left hook that crumpled Litzau against the ropes.
It looks like HBO is ready to give Broner an Andre Berto-type push, so expect to see much more of him in the coming months.
