Victor Ortiz is currently doing some promotional appearances at the University of Kansas. Yesterday, journalists he met there began reporting that Ortiz confirmed he has a tentative contract in place to face Floyd Mayweather in September. Ortiz took to his Twitter page to acknowledge there has been talks, but nothing close to a contract being in place.
