Last week, DJ Premier sat down for an interview with Matt of Itsbongoboy.com. Amongst the intesting topics discussed was the first extended break Premier heard that caused his love of Hip-Hop, meeting Guru, and how he created the classic single and beat “Mass Appeal.” In addition, Premier also disclosed that his Year Round Records, which he’s just now marketing to the public, was founded eight years ago in the wake of the Gang Starr breakup. The label’s Get Used to Us complilations hits stores on December 7.
