Viola Davis gave fans a presidential-level arrival at the recent red carpet premieres of her new action-thriller G20, held in both London and New York City. At the UK premiere, Davis stunned in a sleek black leather ensemble, posing effortlessly in front of a Prime Video-branded helicopter that set the tone for the film’s high-stakes energy. In NYC, the Oscar-winning actress pulled up in a full motorcade, greeted by a crowd of cheering fans.
Now streaming on Prime Video, G20 is directed by Patricia Riggen and stars an ensemble cast including Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, and Douglas Hodge. The film follows Davis in a commanding role as U.S. President Danielle Sutton, who must evade capture from attackers to “protect her family, defend her country and safeguard world leaders…”.
