The song’s ode to New Jersey’s cultural melting pot of house, R&B and hip-hop is highlighted throughout the EP. Unlike the “jersey luv” original’s frenetic beat switch with Newark rapper B Jack$, GROOVY’s “turn me on” version extends the sensual, dream-like crooning for the entire track.
