
On the surface, you might be surprised by the remix lineup for “Black America Again” that features Gucci Mane and Pusha T. But think about it — who better to give a street view of the devastation of black mass incarceration, drug abuse and police targeting of black men than Gucci and Pusha T?
Both do an excellent job of conveying their stances. Gucci showcases a nimble flow as he speaks on his growth from trap star to potential revolutionary. And Pusha gives nice ode to Slick Rick by adopting his “Hey Young World” flow.
