Rick Ross remixes an album cut off his recent Mastermind LP to sound off on police brutality and unrest in Ferguson. You’ll hear early on that the parallels don’t quite fit with Mike Brown’s murder since Ross’ track primarily deals with high-end drug dealers. Killer Mike’s verse offers the most interesting story — he details his father and uncle immersing themselves in the drug trade only to have the uncle snitch on his brother. Production-wise, this falls in line with the laid-back, mid-90s Rap-A-Lot style.
