A woman with daddy issues is a woman with relationship problems. For the first video off her March-released album Po Lil Black Girl, Nia Keturah explores this theme and its cycle of heartbreak and failure. Despite the heavy content, Nia high, almost-childlike voice helps prevent the track from sounding over-bearing or pretentious.

The clip is directed by Morehouse alum Cam Kirk, who’s name has been growing in recent years via his videography work with Young Scooter, and placements with Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Bun B, Estelle and others.
