Diamond District’s yU is up next in Mello Music Group’s 7″ series with the Danedra Rowell-assisted “Dreams.” This is a curveball from yU in that it’s a feel-good, light track that wouldn’t be out of place on pop radio or even a commercial. There’s no rapped verses, just isolated chorus refrains and Rowell’s vocals to carry the track. “Dreams” will be released on a limited vinyl run (300 copies) tomorrow (August 21).
