Although fans who’ve seen Boog Brown perform live are familiar with “Dope Girl Magic,” the song was never available for release until now. Penned four years ago, “Dope Girl Magic” is still fresh in 2012. Illastrate’s production is layered with trumpets and transitions punctuated by flute melodies. Boog is right at home with her usual confidence and provides yet another example of why she one of today’s more underrated emcees.
