Big K.R.I.T. told us last year he was on a mission to remind fans of what southern Hip-Hop used to sound like. The cover art is self-explanatory — K.R.I.T. is adamant in declaring he’ll deliver on the promise many see in him as a future standard-bearer of Hip-Hop in the Deep South. While both are self-affirming, there’s a stark contrast between this song and K.R.I.T.’s last track, “Boobie Miles.”
