David Banner is one of our strongest voices in and outside the booth within Hip-Hop culture. His next endeavor is a free mixtape (Sex, Drugs & Video Games) aimed at putting the control music, movies and other content back in the hands of its creators. His goal is to get 2 million downloads and have each one donate $1 to the “The 2M1 Movement,” which will result in a movie being shot in 2013. Banner in his own words:
We are not simply characters in a video game being controlled by the invisible hand. Once this donation goal is met, I’m going to shoot a movie that will drop 5-22-2013 and a portion of the donations are also going to charity. Big shout out to Louie C.K. for the motivation.
