Blu has the tendency to get too experimental with some of his beats (see No York). But on this track, Pete Rock’s searing mood music fits him just right. We’re still waiting on the Below the Heavens sequel with Exile, but this collaboration will also began calls for Blu to get something together with Pete. This could be mixed a lot better, but would it be Blu if it was?
