Over a year after the release of his More About Nothing mixtape, Wale has finally dropped a video for his “Ambitious Girl” poem. The images and lyrics build together nicely in the beginning, but the cliched “stripper who wants more from life” ending has been covered ad naseum in Hip-Hop and hurts the piece’s originality. Those “ambitious girls” out there who can identify with the words can cop the t-shirt and nameplate inspired by the song at Wale’s online store.
