The newest offering from Statik Selektah’s Population Control features the colorful and disarming spiritual lyrics of Lecrae. This is essentially gospel/Christian Hip-Hop, but it’s executed so well by Lecrae’s inclusive lyrics that most won’t realize it until the last verse. By then, the positive messages on love overcoming shortcomings and vices has already been delivered. The video is directed by Todd Angkasuwan.
