Rapper Tone Loc has entered a no contest plea to assault weapon possession and domestic violence charges from a June incident with his children’s mother.

Loc, real name Anthony Smith, made the plea on Monday in Burbank, California to one count each of possession of an assault weapon and corporal injury to a spouse.

In June, Burbank police were called to Loc’s house over a confrontation with his children’s mother. During their investigation, authorities found an unregistered assault weapon unreleated to the domestic violence incident on the premises.

Loc will serve one day in county jail, three years probation, one year of anger management counseling and 30 days of community service.
