Two new tracks from Nneka’s third studio Soul Is Heavy (September 27) have hit the web early. “God’s Knows Why” has Nneka and Black Thought raging against the machine over a beat with urgent guitar strings that reflect their rebellion-heavy lyrics. “Sleep” has the softer, more melodic rhythms and reggae-tinged flows. Ms. Dynamite sounds as vibrant as she did all those years ago when she won critical acclaim on her debut A Little Deeper.
