New career compilations have been released today on Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz. Floyd’s clip starts in 1998 with his first title victory over Genaro Hernandez. Ortiz’s video begins 10 years later with his 2008 bout against Jeffrey Resto, and focuses heavily on his Maidana defeat and redemption win earlier this year against Andre Berto. The thing that stands out to me in these clips is how Ortiz has the tendency to come in wide and straight up. I hope his camp has made that a priority to fix, as Mayweather’s shoulder roll and right hand potshots will exploit those flaws to the fullest.
