Victor Ortiz is getting continued well-deserved publicity for his Fight of the Year worthy performance last month in winning the WBC welterweight title from Andre Berto. Ortiz appeared on ESPN and discussed the Mayweather fight rumors. He also revealed his outside the ring interests such as his Hip-Hop aspirations. He shows a lot of personality and hopefully we’ll see more young fighters getting a chance to connect with those outside the hardcore fight community. Only thing missing, probably due to HBO, was some footage from the Berto fight.
