Company Solicits Wu-Tang Emcee for ‘Ghost Face Killah’ Beer Endorsement

Ghostface Killah's last prominent endorsement of an alcoholic breverage was in 1994, when he and fellow Wu members recorded a commercial and original song for St. Ides.

After launching a new beer entitled Ghost Face Killah, brewing company Twisted Company is hoping to get Wu-Tang’s own Ghostface Killah to endorse the product.

The Colorado-based company, like Ghostface, named their brew after a character in the martial arts film The Mystery of Chessboxing. The slight spelling variation ensured that Twisted Pine would not face any legal ramification’s from the Wu-Tang veteran. However, the company still attempted to court Ghostface prior to the release of their product.

“We tried to get in touch with him, but we didn’t receive a call back,” company GM Jody Valenta told the LA Times. “We wanted to contact Ghostface to set up a partnership with him.”

The beer utilizes five different peppers including the famous “ghost pepper,” recognized as the hottest pepper in the world. The product is slated for a limited run of 100 bottles.
