“I stay high/while y’all stay low…we all can’t roll…”
The ink on Rick Ross’ Maybach Music deal with Warner Bros. is barely dry. From the output of songs and videos, it appears Ross is serious about his goal of making his imprint a name in the Hip-Hop industry. You’ve heard this song before; it’s the smooth, R&B heavy melodic style that Rozay has worked to perfection. It doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. Both Wiz and Wale compliment the proceedings. I don’t expect the Maybach Music Group LP Self Made (May 24) to sound much different from a Ross album, but that’s not a bad thing. Ross’ music has a distinct sound and he might as well ride it out.
