Golden Boy Promotions and Don Chargin Productions are bringing unbeaten New York prospect Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (22-0, 16 KOs) to Fairfield, California for an eight-round super-middleweight bout against Dennis Sharpe (17-5-3, 5 KOs).
Mostly sidelined and out of the spotlight over the last two years, Quillin began rebuilding his name last year with wins over Fernando Zuniga (UD10) and MartinDesjardins (KO1).
Featured on the card as a co-main event is Fairfield native Alan Sanchez against John Grimaldo in an eight-round welterweight fight. Welterweight prospect Fidel Maldonado Jr. and junior featherweight prospect Manuel Avila will also make appearances.
The card will take place at Fairfield’s Sports Center, with tickets priced from $30-$60. Telefutura will broadcast the event at 11:30 pm ET.
