While Dipset puts the finishing touches on their reunion album, founding member Jim Jones will release his fifth studio album, Capo, on April 5.
According to Jones, roughly 60 songs were recorded for LP. Over the next few weeks, the Harlemite will complete the arduous process of narrowing down songs for an official tracklist. To date, two songs have been released for the project: “Blow Your Smoke” featuring Rell, and the official first single “Perfect Day.”
Capo will feature appearances from Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Roscoe Dash, Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana and Vado.
At press time, Jones is confirmed to be a part of VH1’s eight-part documentary/soap series Love & Hip-Hop. The show airs March 14.
