“My good outweighs the bad, God. Ain’t that what really matters?”

T.I.’s No Mercy album drops in less than a week. He’s been having a pity party lately over trying to explain his revolving door cycle with prison. In the real world, no one wants to hear constant excuses. But in Hip-Hop, it’s tolerated if the music is hot. We’ll see if Tip delivers this coming Tuesday (December 7).

MOE GREEN “LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION”

Bay Area’s Moe Green is working on a new EP entitled Lionheart. Until then, he’s still dropping songs from  Rocky Maivia: Non-Title Match. This track was a bonus, and doesn’t signify the sound of the project. The Jersey Shore footage fits right in with the dance music, but that might not be a good thing depending on your tastes. The electro-house beat was made by Rob-E, but the video was made on a dare by Ian “iD” Davis.

“To tell you the truth, iD surprised me with the video,” Green explained. “We talked about it some months ago, but I didn’t think he would actually do it. On the show they play a lot of high energy music. And yeah, you can most definitely fist pump to this.”

Be on the lookout for Green’s official debut album, To Whom It May Concern, in early 2011.

1982 FEAT GHETTO & EA$Y MONEY “SHUT IT DOWN (VIRGIN MEGASTORE BOYS)”

Even being a big fan of 1982, I must confess I nearly turned this off. The reason? The horrible opening line from Ghetto (“She want me because my money green like toe fungus”).  Nonetheless, I’m glad I didn’t. It’s a chill floss track with an appropriate, smoothed out sample from Statik Selektah. This is not on 1982’s debut album, but their free EP which you can download below.

N.O.R.E. FEAT. IMAM THUG “BLAM”

N.O.R.E. was in Hollywood recently to shoot a video with Imam Thug for “Blam.” N.O.R.E. will get back on the solo tip in early 2011 with S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G., which already has confirmed guest spots form Pharrell, Macy Gray, and Sleepy Brown (this one I gotta hear). The production end will be handled by The Neptunes, Scoop DeVille, Hazardis Soundz, and more to be announced.
