Bernard Hopkins gave media our first look at his training progress leading into his December 18 title match with Jean Pascal. B-Hop has never not been in shape for a fight. The question for about the last 5-6 years has been when age is going to catch with him? There’s no glaring signs of fall off in this footage. Sure, his punches don’t quite have the snap they did during the earlier part of this decade. But they shouldn’t considering the man is now 45 years old. Even at this stage of the Executioner’s career, Pascal better be looking to apply constant pressure, and not fighting in spurts as he did with Chad Dawson.
