Detroit native Boog Brown is still receiving a lot of due praise for his Apollo Brown produced full-length Brown Study. For the production heads, Mello Music Group has released a full instrumental version of the album. Apollo had a lot of diverse sounds on here, so feel free to sit back and groove to them, or offer your own interpretations if you’re an emcee. The download below is FREE, along with streaming links of each song. For those who haven’t heard Boog’s rhymes, a few of the regular tracks have been included as well. Another well-made album to drop this year was Trek Life’s Everything Changed Nothing. The entire album was produced by Oddisee, so it goes without saying that production on this one is quality. You can check out the streaming link as a preview. I got the chance to see Trek Life last month when he came through ATL for the A3C festival. If you hear about him coming through your town, he’s well worth your money and time.
