While Antonio Margarito came in right at the 150 pound catchweight, Manny Pacquiao tipped the scales at a startling 144.6 pounds.
Margarito stripped down to his briefs, and was in tremendous shape despite being a little drawn and pale. During the weighing, some fans could be heard chanting “cheater! cheater!” at the Tijuana Tornado. Pacquiao’s frame was solid, although not the normally ripped physique he’s become notable for flexing during his weigh-ins.
On fight night (November 13), Pacquiao is expected to weigh between 148-150 pounds. Margarito could possibly gain as much as 15 pounds by tomorrow, and come in close to the super-middleweight limit (168 lbs.) at 165 pounds.
Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito will be a 12 round bout for the vacant WBC junior-middleweight title.
