“I’m tired of the way you been livin’/ I’m tired of the weight you ain’t liftin’.” Ayah
For those who don’t know, Ayah is a highly talented young artist currently residing in Toronto. The 24 year old siren hit my radar a few years ago when she released her refreshing and spunky Problem Woman mixtape, inspired the late Marvin Gaye’s classic Trouble Man. A singer and emcee, she’s worked on projects with DJ Jazzy Jeff (This Way) and been featured on Okayplayer. She recently dropped a new LP entitled 4:15. Apollo Brown, who released his own well-received album The Reset earlier this year, shows his versatility stepping in Ayah’s soul music lane for this remix.
The song’s title derives from Ayah’s laments at 4:15AM as she reflect on being taken for granted by her lover. You can check out more from Ayah at her official website.
Ayah “4:15 (Apollo Brown Reprise)”

Ayah’s voice is beautiful and Apollo offers a dope laid back, slightly somber atmosphere. Big up!
