This review of Atlanta’s One MusicFest is taking longer than I thought! Still uploading footage of Common and De La Sooul rocking on stage. Here’s one from the sultry Goapele, who I had the pleasure of meeting before her set. Wonderful person and artist. More on the way later. Here she performs my favorite track from her (“Different”) and her upcoming second single “Right Here,” produced by Atlanta’s Drumma Boy. I don’t like her voice over that type of synth-styled production but unfortunately it’s the sound the radio goes by these days.
