On Saturday I got the privilege of attending Atlanta’s first annual One Musicfest. Held at the King Plow Center, the day started off very slow due to the heat exceeding 100 degrees. For an outdoor event, that is heat stroke weather. In spite of a big rainstorm coming through to delay the event for a good hour, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise by cooling off the atmosphere.
I got the opportunity to meet the beautiful Bay Area singer Goapele, Maseo of De La Soul and Common. Here are a few pictures from event. Be on the lookout Monday (August 2) for a thorough show review and all the news and interviews that came out of the event.
