The success of the original 2009 DJ Hero has lead to a sequel that will feaure over 100 artists.
With participation from DJ Jazzy Jeffl and over 100 songs, the original multi-platform title went on to sell over 1.2 million copies.

According to Freestyle Games’ Jamie Jackson, his company relied heavily on Youtube hits to decide the artist list, stating that the artists included total over 1.2 billion YouTube hits.
The artists range from current popular acts to Hip-Hop legends (Tupac, Nas), respected underground emcees (Pharoahe Monch), and those who influenced the culture through sampling (Edwin Starr, Malcolm McLaren).
Below is the official trailer released last month at the annual E3 gaming conference, and a list of all the artists in this year’s edition. DJ Hero is tentatively scheduled to be released on October 19.
