Hit the J, Anna Mae! This new video from The Game is part ode to the green leaf and part narrative on his woman’s aversion to it. Pretty sure she’s getting a contact high regardless.

Most of you know I bleed orange and blue, but credit where credit is due to Queensbridge’s own Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace for his new posse cut. Been a minute since I’ve heard Big Noyd and I had no idea Devin Ebanks spit, too. How long before we get a track with Metta and Iman Shumpert? If you’re feeling this, cop it HERE.
The Game, with Scarface and Kendrick Lamar in tow, brings his “Sunday Service” series to a satisfying closure. Since some of these tracks were supposed to make the album, Game was kind enough to give the above image/cover art to show how he planned out the original tracklisting for Jesus Piece (December 11). This track is definitely my choice for the best “Sunday Service” track yet, straight fire.
Game heads to Texas for this week’s soulful “Sunday Service” drop. Kanye and Cool and Dre handle the production, which features the soul loop sound that was a staple of Ye’s production in his early years. The Texas boys all come with terse but efficient and quick bars. Because of that, the song rolls (no pun intended) along nicely despite the loaded lineup. If you wondering why this album quality track is being offered for free, per Game it was intended for Jesus Piece (right after the title track in sequence) but the sample couldn’t be cleared.
You have to give it to Game; getting all the members of Bone Thugs N Harmony together is no easy feat these days. Let’s be thankful he did, because “Celebration” is that classic Bone sound (this time “1st of tha Month” derived). Game doesn’t a decent job of mimicking their style, but the Cleveland legends are the stars of this track and rightly so. Jesus Piece drops on December 11.
For the Baptists, Penecostals and other denominations who know what it’s like to experience church as an all-day event, you’ll probably get a kick out of Game’s idea for today’s “Sunday Service” drop. Game will be dropping 3 tracks at roughly 8am, 11am and 6pm (I’m assuming PT time), which mirrors the service times you see a lot of bigger and mega-churches doing. Game kicked it off right with the Sap-produced “Black Jesus.” No synthetic trap beats or cheesy, autotuned choruses here. Let’s hope Game stays on schedule for the rest of day’s drops (he’s already late lol).
If you went to sleep last night waiting for Game’s latest “Sunday Service” drop, you’ll be starting off the day with thick strippers, Future and Young Jeezy on “I Remember.” Hearing Game doing his Future impersonation is worth the price of admission alone. Game’s Jesus Piece album drops on December 11.
