From ’95 through now, DJ Khaled has been rocking with Cash Money. Well, not really, but you’ll get the theme of sticking with the people who brought you success from this new video for “No New Friends.” The clip also features the infamous outfit and pose that inspired so many Drake memes earlier this month. “No New Friends” will be included on Khaled’s upcoming album Suffering From Success.

Well, that was quick. Roughly 24 hours after releasing a Justice League produced-heater with Jadakiss,  the MMG leader has dropped a video for “Oil Money Gang.” Biggie bar about “the millionaire, the mansion” is pretty much the theme of this clip, complete with stacks on money in the background. I’d be really nice to hear that Deeper Than Rap sound more prevalent on Ross’s upcoming projects over the trap beats.

With Rick Ross’s announcement today that his MMG crew will again be dropping a Self Made sequel for the summer on August 6, the collective has blessed fans with three leaks. Rockie Fresh was first up earlier today with  track called “God Is Great.” Based on Meek Mill’s blasphemous “Amen,” you couldn’t help but expect something distasteful. Yeah, praising God for hoes and expensive watches isn’t that much better than what Meek served up, but Boi-1da’s down tempo grooves helped this one go down much easier.

Next up was Wale, Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco on “Poor Decisions.” Jake Uno is on the beat and Ross kicks it off detailing how young hustlers, despite their entrepreneurial savvy, even up making fatal mistakes out in the streets. Lupe Fiasco absolutely kills his verse and this is another acute reminder of how potent he can be over traditional Hip-Hop production.

Last but certainly not least is another heater from the Justice League. To call the production “smooth” is an understatement. This is some lavish, 80s-styled R&B rhythms that has the cinematic feel of Miami. Ross eats it up and Jada provides a solid closing to what has been an excellent day of music from the MMG camp. Self Made 3 has a good chance to be one of the top projects to drop this summer.

A better title for this track is “Drake and friends” since Drizzy’s blueprint is all over these proceedings. Drake handles the chorus and provides the best verse as well. Wayne sounds like he’s still shaking off the effects of his recent health scare, Ross is merely serviceable, and Future is thrown in randomly in the closing minute. Not an immediate smash guest spot like Drake did for Khaled with “I’m On One” a few years back, but this is still solid.

C’mon Pusha and Rozay — bosses don’t get caught in the same room with money and dope on the table! Enjoy the video for Pusha’s lead single from his Wrath of Caine mixtape.

Police are reporting that at least a dozen bullets were shot at a Rolls Royce carrying Rick Ross following the rapper’s birthday party celebration in Fort Lauderdale.

According to WSVN News, Ross was leaving a restaurant when the attack happened around 5 a.m. on 1410 E Las Olas Blvd. No one was hit, but the assault caused the driver to crash the vehicle.

At press time, no suspects or further information has been released by police.

Let me make a few predictions. First, we’ll see a few new videos from the supposed Gangster Disciples that have been trying to extort Ross over the last few months. And second, we’ll get a humorous interview from Ross fully in character totally shrugging off this attempt as something bosses have to deal with.

In all seriousness, this could have been a tragedy. Let’s not forget that just a few years ago, T.I. lost his best friend in a similar drive-by shooting.

This story is just breaking so expect more details as the day wears on.

A solid guest verse from Rick Ross highlights this new track scheduled to be apart of Pusha T’s upcoming solo album Wrath of Caine. Remember about a year and a half ago when most where excited about the prospect of a Pusha T solo album? He hasn’t had that “home run” song as of yet and I wouldn’t be surprised if this song doesn’t make the LP.

Juelz Santana is dropping a new mixtape on January 14 dubbed God Will’n. This first leak sounds like a MMG throwaway than anything you’d associate with Santana. Not a bad song by any means, just very, very derivative.

With Christmas time approaching, MMG head Rick Ross and Stalley visit church (briefly) to reflect on their sins in this new video for “10 Jesus Pieces.” The video is directed by Dre Films and can be found on Ross’ God Forgives I Don’t album.

Hmmmm this might could use a video. Rozay drops a remix for his standout God Forgives I Don’t trap music anthem “Hold Me Back.” Everyone brings the needed energy for this track except Lil Wayne, who sounds like he’s in a drug-induced stupor.
