“Milk Box” is the final leak off Dag Savage’s Salvation mixtape, which is set to drop next week. With vocal samples that range from Busta Rhymes to pro wrestling from Exile, Johaz addresses making wack emcees disappear (“milk box material”).

The California streets are the backdrop in the visuals for Dag Savage’s somber ode “Cali Dreamin.’” The video is directed by Ryan Calavano. The song is available now on iTunes HERE.

Exile + young, hungry emcee = good music. We’ve seen this forumla previously with Blu, Aloe Blacc and Fashawn. Now we can add San Diego emcee Johaz to that list if this smooth, introspective track “Cali Dreamin” is any indication. No word yet on when a potential album will hit, but I’m sure after listening this duo’s future work will be on your radar.

This never before released track is featured on Blu & Exile’s new EP Maybe One Day. It will also have a spot on the duo’s highly-anticipated new album Give Me My Flowers While I Can Smell Them, dropping September 8. You can order the EP HERE

Back in December, a full unmastered album from Blu & Exile surfaced on bandcamp entitled Give Me Flowers While I Can Smell Them. Beneath the bad sound quality, there was some good music there is much need of an official release. That day will be September 4 as the trio announced via a new video trailer. Fans can expect new music and added instrumentation on the retained songs. The project will be preceded by a 10″ EP called Maybe One Day (July24) that can be pre-ordered HERE.
